Received Not The Love Of The Truth: Donny Phillips

Published by admin under Donny

donny_333_pblog

From II Thessalonians chapter 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.  8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:  9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,  10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.  11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:  12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.  13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:  14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I was listening to a sermon on the way home from work tonight brought by Bro Paul Washer. I recall that a great joy came over me as he quoted a portion of scripture in the message. I considered it a moment and realized the scriptures explained that feeling.

Jeremiah 15: 16 Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.

Those who are called after Christ will love the anointed preaching and reading of the Word of God. It is what we live by.

Deuteronomy 8:3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live. This is quoted by Jesus in Matthew and Luke 4:4.

I realized at that moment, another feeling of joy as I thought on this and realized what the Bible says.  John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: It gives me that assurance that I belong to Jesus.

Do I sound weak because I need to have the assurance of belonging to Jesus laid before me on a regular basis? Let me ask you this, how often do you tell your loved ones that you love them? Is once enough and you never say I love you again?

How many places in the scriptures were we given instruction to measure our relationship with God versus the fruits of our life? I John gives a good deal of consideration of defining who is and who is not in Christ based on the fruits of their life. Every New Testament writer touches on the topic of this subject.

God wants you to know where you stand in Him and gives you His Word to go by to determine your place in Him. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.  II Timothy 1:7 It is not how I feel, it is what God’s Word says.

At that same moment, the Holy Spirit also brought another scripture to my mind. It was about those who do not receive the love and joy of God’s Word. They will be deceived and consumed, utterly destroyed. Many of these people may behave better than believers. They may be law abiding and civic minded citizens. But the Bible says they are damned for not receiving the Gospel. Because of this, they will be drawn away at the given time when Satan will come and be able to permanently turn them against God.

Beloved, we have a short time to  live the Gospel before those who do not the saving power of Jesus.

Have I grown closer to Jesus this year than I was a year ago?

Do I have a deeper love and joy at hearing the reading and teaching of God’s Word?

What is my attitude toward sin?

What fruit can I and others see demonstrated in my life?

Is it important to me to know that I have God’s approval as written in His Word?

I seek that approval; we should do it daily; we should do it always.

And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him. John 8:29

In Earth As It Is In Heaven: Donny Phillips

Published by admin under Donny

donny_avt

The title for this message was taken directly from Matthew chapter 6.

The full context reads as follows: ” 9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.  10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.  11 Give us this day our daily bread.  12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.  13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. ” We call this The Lords Prayer and we say it a lot. They even sing it in some places. But the Holy Spirit has been bringing my attention to one specific portion of this passage of scripture. ….in earth as it is in heaven…. what does that say. It tells me how Jesus was able to make it on this earth. It tells me how I can make it through any situation. The answer is simple, possessing the solution is the hard part. You must be dwelling in that secret place of the Most High. Where God is, it is Heaven. You read about Heaven in the Bible and many people focus on all the descriptions given by the prophets and apostles (remember these are earthly tales of heavenly visions) that probably do not come close to giving the glory of Heaven its full revelation. Nevertheless, we are fixed on those marvels and are averted from the fact that God is what makes Heaven the place you want to be. Jesus said,  the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand (Matthew 3:2).

The complete manifestation of God was seen in Jesus, and where God is, there is Heaven. Now we are given God’s Holy Spirit to dwell in us (those saved by the blood), so again, as you read in Luke 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. When the disciples were sent off to preach in Luke 10, Jesus said, ” And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you. “ The Word that He gave them, the Word that was in them to deliver was eternal life and eternal fellowship with God. The transition from earth to heaven will be a great change, no doubt. The transition of our fellowship with God through Jesus does not and should not follow suit. Jesus left the location known as heaven behind to come live on this earth, He did not leave God behind. We were not saved to meet God some day. We were saved in order to experience fellowship with God right now. We had to be restored to a state where that was possible. This is what Jesus did for us on the cross with His shed blood and the sacrifice of His life for the atonement of our sins.

The enemy has tricked many into postponing their experience with God after this life on earth is spent. If the Kingdom of Heaven was at Hand 2000 years ago, isn’t it available today? Has God put things on hold or can we have everything the early church experienced in Christ? Jesus asked a question in Luke 18:8 “I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?” Now He had just given the context of faith in the first 7 verses, simply put perseverance.  Even though I have not seen or experienced the things of God in the same measure as Jesus did, I have the Word of my Lord saying greater things (more numerous) will be done because I go to my Father and send the Holy Spirit. ( John 14:12 and 14:16).  Beloved, this promise is not on hold from heaven: it is on hold due to my relationship with God the Father and where I stand in Christ, His Word, and the fellowship of His sufferings.

God is true and just and righteous and perfect. It is sealed perfection on His side, if there is any blessing missing, it has to be on my side of the table. He has laid great plans before us. His goals are higher than we can reach on our own, but they are not out of Christ’s reach. I must be found in Him to achieve this place of fellowship, it is the only way He will accept and pour out the power from above to accomplish the goals set before me. Peace be to you in the Name of Jesus.

What God Is Looking For

Published by admin under Donny

And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do; Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.
Genesis 18:17-19

Do you understand what the attraction is? What God sees in Abraham that moves Him to share His plan and His thoughts? God says in these verses that He sees that Abraham would raise his children in the ways of God and this will perpetuate a people who will walk after God and His ways.

The fathers of the magi must have been of like mindedness as Abraham. For centuraries they kept the watch based on what they had passed down through generations. The reward they received was to visit Jesus and be a part of the works of God.

Beloved, we must have that same mind set.

So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Hebrews 9:28

Am I always looking up to the sky as they did in Acts? No, but I look by keeping the word of God in my heart. I stay in fellowship by hearing and doing His will. I enjoin myself to the body of Christ with like believers who also wait and look forward to His return.

Do Not Ignore The Last Prophet

Published by admin under Donny

Jeremiah 25

 27 Therefore thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Drink ye, and be drunken, and spue, and fall, and rise no more, because of the sword which I will send among you.

 28 And it shall be, if they refuse to take the cup at thine hand to drink, then shalt thou say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Ye shall certainly drink.

 29 For, lo, I begin to bring evil on the city which is called by my name, and should ye be utterly unpunished? Ye shall not be unpunished: for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith the LORD of hosts.

 30 Therefore prophesy thou against them all these words, and say unto them, The LORD shall roar from on high, and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he shall mightily roar upon his habitation; he shall give a shout, as they that tread the grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth.

 31 A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; for the LORD hath a controversy with the nations, he will plead with all flesh; he will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the LORD.

 32 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth.

 33 And the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground.

 34 Howl, ye shepherds, and cry; and wallow yourselves in the ashes, ye principal of the flock: for the days of your slaughter and of your dispersions are accomplished; and ye shall fall like a pleasant vessel.

 35 And the shepherds shall have no way to flee, nor the principal of the flock to escape.

Thank God we have not gotten to this point yet. God has stopped the rain or allowed the flood and is correcting us gently in the economic crisis we now face. But we must respond to this correction. God went to Israel many times with prophets speaking His Word.

Jeremiah 26

4 And thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD; If ye will not hearken to me, to walk in my law, which I have set before you,

 5 To hearken to the words of my servants the prophets, whom I sent unto you, both rising up early, and sending them, but ye have not hearkened;

Read Jonah

You see that the city of Nineveh was about to be destroyed, but they turned from their ways at the mouth of the man sent from God.  What if they had ignored the last prophet?

I do not feel in my spirit that God has sent the final word yet, but it may be coming soon. We have set up a hedge in bringing back the Word of God into schools. It may not be too late. But they are also changing the law with respect to same sex marraiges. Homosexuality has always been a flsah point in the Bible (bringing judgement), and could be the final indicator of this country’s spiritual thermometer.  Can we turn back and repent the way Nineveh did? Pra that we do not ignore the last prophet.

Blessing For Believing Prophecy

Published by admin under Donny

Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. John 20:29

Jeremiah 16
13 Therefore will I cast you out of this land into a land that ye know not, neither ye nor your fathers; and there shall ye serve other gods day and night; where I will not shew you favour.
14 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be said, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;
15 But, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the lands whither he had driven them: and I will bring them again into their land that I gave unto their fathers.
16 Behold, I will send for many fishers, saith the LORD, and they shall fish them; and after will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks.

Israel stands in place today. The people continue to gather as they have for the past 50 years into this location. It was cleared out and re-occupied for centuries by other peoples, but God’s Word in His timing has come to pass. Israel stands in place today, small yet powerful. Israel has enemies on every side and yet stands its ground. This is not the wisdom or knowledge of man but the favor of God that works to bring His Word to pass as spoken by the prophets.

God is good to His Word. I can have peace in knowing that I can trust in God and His Word as written in the Bible. I have knowledge of things to come as spoken in God’s Word and know His Will for life. This blessing is available to everyone who will believe and receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

God’s Plan For The US

Published by admin under Donny

What does God intend to do with the US. What is our purpose and how will we be used? We have been so blessed compared to the rest of the world. We are told that with great blessing comes great expectations. So, what is the expectation? Ask yourself this: What does God want? Now goto the Bible and find it.

Micah 5:8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

Ephesians 5

 23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

 24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

 25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

As a body of believers or and individual, God wants us to progress to places in Christ where our lives are a full demonstration of the life Jesus led before us.

God cares about His body and will do what it takes to bring us in as that bride without spot or wrinkle.So what is the practical application of this knowledge and where is this all headed. You can see this in the book of Jeremiah chapter 5

 1 Run ye to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in the broad places thereof, if ye can find a man, if there be any that executeth judgment, that seeketh the truth; and I will pardon it.

 2 And though they say, The LORD liveth; surely they swear falsely.

 3 O LORD, are not thine eyes upon the truth? thou hast stricken them, but they have not grieved; thou hast consumed them, but they have refused to receive correction: they have made their faces harder than a rock; they have refused to return.

 4 Therefore I said, Surely these are poor; they are foolish: for they know not the way of the LORD, nor the judgment of their God.

Israel shared the same blessings and benefits in their time as we have in ours. They were to show forth the greatness of God and be a witness to the world. They failed. And the US likewise has gone in the same direction.

Look at the weakening of the leadership. The giving in to pleasure and entertainment. The rejection of God and His Will.

There is still hope, God is dealing with this nation. A praying church that cries turn this nation back to God is bringing down God’s Hand. Not to smooth, but to chasten. If you have been deceived by the properity gospel, you wil not understand that God is out to perfect His people. You will understand the means and methods He uses to do so. God dealt with Israel in various ways before He gave them over to the nations. It was an increasing form of chastisement. First by His Own Hand in holding back the rain and later by using other peoples who would deal a greater blow than He could bring Himself to deliver. People do not understand this because they do not inquire at God’s Word or they approach the Bible from a mis-guided understanding. I thank God that He stills looks upon us as His child and chastens us in love. BUT WE MUST RESPOND! We must turn back to His Word.

I live in Texas. We have just begun the process to restore teaching the Bible in public schools. I think there are several states pursuing this as well. It will not be an easy task. Satan will bring all he has to keep the Word of God out of the public schools. God’s Word will transform lives and defeat him. He knows this and will have to come with all he can muster to deride this effort. We must pray for this Word to get back into the schools or it will not happen.

So here we sit on 16th July 2008, and I see no one running for the office of president that I would want at the helm. God’s Word will prevail. Our outcome will be based on our response to be lined up with His Word.

See The video message God’s Plan For The US

Remember that Daniel prevailed and thrived during the reign of ungodly kings. Our selection of president and what that man brings with him will not stop the plan of God from its final destination.

Victory Through God’s Word

Published by admin under Donny

….in progress

Lets start with Matthew 4 and Acts 18:

Matthew 4

 1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

 2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.

 3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

 4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

 5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,

 6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

 7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

 8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

 9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

 10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

 11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

Acts 18

 24 And a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the scriptures, came to Ephesus.

 25 This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John.

 26 And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.

 27 And when he was disposed to pass into Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him: who, when he was come, helped them much which had believed through grace:

 28 For he mightily convinced the Jews, and that publicly, shewing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ.

All Jesus needed to defeat the devil was to stand on the Word of God.

All Apollos needed to declare Jesus was the Word of God. The understanding of Jesus is wholly revealed in the written Word of God.

Strap on your seat belts….

Leviticus 9 - 10

9:23 And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the people.

 24 And there came a fire out from before the LORD, and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat: which when all the people saw, they shouted, and fell on their faces.

10

 1 And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not.

 2 And there went out fire from the LORD, and devoured them, and they died before the LORD.

 3 Then Moses said unto Aaron, This is it that the LORD spake, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron held his peace.

Acts 4 - 5

4:36 And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus,

 37 Having land, sold it, and brought the money, and laid it at the apostles’ feet.

5

 1 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession,

 2 And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles’ feet.

 3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?

 4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.

 5 And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.

 6 And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him.

 7 And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in.

 8 And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much.

 9 Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out.

 10 Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband.

Revelation 3

 7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;

 8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.

 9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

 10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

 11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

 12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

 13 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

 14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

 15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.

 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

 17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

 18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

 21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

 22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Acts 19

11 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul:

 12 So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.

 13 Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the LORD Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.

 14 And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so.

 15 And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?

 16 And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

 17 And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.

 18 And many that believed came, and confessed, and shewed their deeds.

 19 Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.

 20 So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.

Genesis 11

 1 And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.

 2 And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.

 3 And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter.

 4 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.

 5 And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.

 6 And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.

 7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.

 8 So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.

 9 Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.

Acts 2

 1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

 5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

 6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

Jesus was a walking revival

Mark 1

 35 And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.

 36 And Simon and they that were with him followed after him.

 37 And when they had found him, they said unto him, All men seek for thee.

 38 And he said unto them, Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also: for therefore came I forth.

Blessings And A Curse

Published by admin under Donny

It was not without cause that God spoke to Israel saying “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. II Chronicles 7:14″ Yet we cannot make the connection thousands of years later and identify the root causes to the problems in this country and in the world. The rejection of truth has placed this world at odds with its creator, and we are now reaping the reward of our disobedience. The things spoken to the people of Israel are also recorded for our benefit as well.

From the Book of Deuteronomy chapter 29:

 14 Neither with you only do I make this covenant and this oath;
 15 But with him that standeth here with us this day before the LORD our God, and also with him that is not here with us this day:

 16 (For ye know how we have dwelt in the land of Egypt; and how we came through the nations which ye passed by;

 17 And ye have seen their abominations, and their idols, wood and stone, silver and gold, which were among them:)

 18 Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth away this day from the LORD our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood;

 19 And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst:

 20 The LORD will not spare him, but then the anger of the LORD and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven.

 21 And the LORD shall separate him unto evil out of all the tribes of Israel, according to all the curses of the covenant that are written in this book of the law:

 22 So that the generation to come of your children that shall rise up after you, and the stranger that shall come from a far land, shall say, when they see the plagues of that land, and the sicknesses which the LORD hath laid upon it;

 23 And that the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, and burning, that it is not sown, nor beareth, nor any grass groweth therein, like the overthrow of Sodom, and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim, which the LORD overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath:

 24 Even all nations shall say, Wherefore hath the LORD done thus unto this land? what meaneth the heat of this great anger?

 25 Then men shall say, Because they have forsaken the covenant of the LORD God of their fathers, which he made with them when he brought them forth out of the land of Egypt:

 26 For they went and served other gods, and worshipped them, gods whom they knew not, and whom he had not given unto them:

 27 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against this land, to bring upon it all the curses that are written in this book:

 28 And the LORD rooted them out of their land in anger, and in wrath, and in great indignation, and cast them into another land, as it is this day.

 29 The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.

chapter 30

 1 And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee,

 2 And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;

 3 That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee.

 4 If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee:

 5 And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.

 6 And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

 7 And the LORD thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee.

 8 And thou shalt return and obey the voice of the LORD, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day.

 9 And the LORD thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the LORD will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers:

 10 If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.

 11 For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off.

 12 It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?

 13 Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?

 14 But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.

 15 See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;

 16 In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.

 17 But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;

 18 I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it.

 19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

 20 That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

Our decisions to follow our own desires and the actions we have taken in rejecting the Word of God has opened the door for these catastrophes to happen. When the angels delivered lot from Sodom, they did it in haste, Lot was the last righteous man restraining the judgement of God on that Land. Beloved, please consider the fact that God did not go down and speak to them, He did not send a messenger like he did with Jonah to Nineveh, He went to Abraham and said that He was going to wipe it out. We must intercede for this land! God’s character is perfect and has no need to change. He is true to His Word and you can know His will by feeding on the Word of God daily. The eyes of the Church must be opened and it must cry out in intercession for the people of this land.

God said it was within our capacity to understand His Word and His will. We must choose to humble ourselves and do so.

Proceed With Caution

Published by admin under Donny

Beloved, we are experiencing a moment in history that is impacting the whole world. Earthquakes, floods, famine, pestilence, and other crisis are occurring in various places around the globe. These are tragic events happening in isolated locations. But almost every location is being affected by the current rise in oil prices. We are being cast into a time of perplexity and uncertainty. The time is ripe for some group or someone  to come in and gain advantage over many by providing a solution to this situation. Remember how quickly Esau gave up his rights to fulfill a short term need. A large part of our Lord’s earthly ministry was spent warning us of satan’s deception. We are told in many places that we are responsible for what we receive.  And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. Matthew 24:4-5

Satan has no rules to follow here. He has no power over God or the Word of God, so he must attack using deception, guile, and ignorance. We are the target of these attacks. Satan cannot come up against God, but he can hurt the ones that God loves and who Jesus gave His life for. We are the portal satan uses to strike at Heaven. What starts as a move of God or Spiritual revival can quickly become a work of man and fork off into apostasy. (See Leviticus 10 Nadab & Abihu : Acts 5 Ananias & Sapphira)

Matthew 24:23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

25 Behold, I have told you before.

26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Jesus warned us about staying ready, staying filled with the Spirit, and in communion with God by keeping His Word.

44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

Beloved, we must be attentive to the Word of God. Not just our daily feeding on His Word, but also inquiring at His Word for the truth of all matters pertaining to life. In this time of uncertainty, there is great opportunity for satan to come in and gain advantage. If Jesus relied on the Word of God to stand against the devil, we can do nothing less.

How bad could it be? How could we be so deceived? Consider the church at Thessolanica, they had been lead to believe that the rapture of the believers had happened and they were left behind. The apostle Paul had to write a letter of correction and explain that this was not true.

II Thessalonians 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

 5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

 6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

 7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

 8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

 9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

What fear must have gripped the minds of these saints, thinking that they had missed the coming of the Lord. They had probably heard the parable of the 10 virgins and been utterly convinced that they were doomed, just like the 5 left at the door of the bridegroom. Entrance denied! Are we any smarter then them? Are we any smarter than those to come after us? What advantage do we have without the truth of God’s Word that would keep us from being deceived just like the Thessalonians? They had first hand experiences with Paul and possibly other apostles of the early church. We cannot even begin to appreciate what experiences these early churches had with these men and women of God. Yet, they were still deceived. Paul gave some good council to the Corinthian saints that agrees with this message of standing fast in God’s Word.

I Corinthians 10: 11 Now all these things happened unto them for examples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

 12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

We must not allow pride to overtake us, and lure us into thinking that we are beyond deception. The Bible is the whole council of God. But if we do not hide that Word in our hearts, if we are not keeping that Word, and daily feeding on that Word; we will stand without oil in our lamps just as those 5 foolish virgins did.

Beloved, I have seen a lot of things taking place in the world claiming to be of Christ. Some of it is real easy to discern by the Word of God and some is very subtle. We must be on our watch and on watch for our brothers and sisters in Christ.

 I John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

AND

I Timothy 4:16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

How do I discern those subtle cases, how do I untangle the emotional hype from an act of the Spirit?

Remember that God is not the author of confusion. If someones actions and life do not line up with God’s Word: do not receive their word. Remember that God is love and there is no darkness in Him at all.

James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

 18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

God’s Word provides many examples for us to measure what goes into our spirit. Consider where the “revival” is going, the path Jesus took lead to the cross, it lead to self sacrifice, it lead to doing only the will of the Father. Jesus did not get for Himself, He got for others: pleasing God and doing God’s will was His purpose.

Jesus did not rebuke genuine and honest questions. When speaking with Thomas, He had him preform all that Thomas had spoken in order to satisfy his doubts. There was no intimidation or threatening, He answered in all love and gentleness.

Why is Thomas so special? Is He the only one allowed to have a close encounter with the Lord? The Word of God I believe says we can all have fellowship with the Father: it also shows us how. I am not the way to eternal life, no man is the way to eternal life, only Jesus is. I must be directing you to Jesus and not to myself. You must be drawn to Jesus, not the power or the miracles, but the Word of Eternal Life that comes from Him. Remember how Jesus told Martha that Mary had chosen the better thing. Mary had her priorities right. She sat and listened to what Jesus had to say.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.  John 14:6

Things Not Seen As Yet

Published by admin under Donny

Genesis 7

5 And Noah did according unto all that the LORD commanded him.

Hebrews 11

 1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

 2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.

 3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

 4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.

………………..why?

 5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

———————————————————-

Jude 1

14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,

 15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

———————————————————-

 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

 7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

—————————————————————-

II Peter 2:5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;

This tells me that the natural man cannot be ready for the great tribulations that are going to come upon this earth. No technology, no wisdom, no knowledge can surpass the Word of God to His people. We must be fellowship with Him and hearing His voice.

—————————————————————-

II Corinthians 4

 16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

 17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

 18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

John 17

20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

John 20

 29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

 Genesis 7

 6 And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth.

 7 And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood.

 8 Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth,

 9 There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah.

 10 And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.

 11 In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

 12 And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.

 13 In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah’s wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark;

 14 They, and every beast after his kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind, and every fowl after his kind, every bird of every sort.

 15 And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life.

 16 And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in.

 17 And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth.

 18 And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters.

 19 And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered.

 20 Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered.

 21 And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man:

 22 All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died.

 23 And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark.

Matthew 16:17

And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

————————————————————-

There are things of God that even His closest followers themselves cannot determine on their own, but must have the Holy Spirit reveal these precious spiritual truths to us. It is our Fathers desire to open His Word to us and have us walk in His Word.

Beloved, we are in the begining of sorrows, you may face tests like Job; everything about you may seem as if God has totally left you behind. Stand fast in His Word, examine yourself with the Holy Scriptures, speak with the Lord, and listen for His voice. Put all your trust and future in His Word and not on what you see with your eyes or what the world tells you.

The world makes its choices and derives its wisdom based on the things it can see. The world’s solutions are flawed by the very method in which they are observed. Jesus is the only answer that will bring us what we must have to be all that God intends for us.

———————————————————————

John 14:6

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

———————————————————

Have you really bougth into this, are you sold out to Jesus?

Noah prepared an ark to the saving of his house……

What am I doing to prepare?

I have a Word from God about what will come to pass on this earth, about not to love this world or the things in it but to set my affections on things above. God has not kept anything secret from us. His Word is not hidden to anyone but those who willingly elect to not hear it.

—————————————————————–

John 10

 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

———————————————————————–

We are living in an incredible time, you have seen the news about the same sex marriage laws in California. We see that this world is being turned upside down in many ways, peace and stability are at a premium these days.

Hebrews 11:40 says

God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

We have a God sized challenge to believe His Word in spite of everything we see and hear happening around us in these last days. I have to believe that I am here for such a time as this and in such a place as this to let this world see me believe God’s Word and respond according to it and not to what I see happening around me.
